This Institute provides regular assistance and support to industrial development agencies of the Government of NCT, Delhi, District Industries Centre; Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar. The officers of this Institute actively participated in the Task Force Meetings for selection of candidates for providing benefits under PMRY Scheme. The senior officers of the Institute attended High Powered Committee meetings held at Office of Commissioner of Industries, Govt. of NCT, Delhi.

The Institute actively participates in the registration of small-scale units under SINGLE POINT REGISTRATION SCHEME for Govt. Purchase Programme for which NSIC is registering the eligible units. The Institute undertakes the inspection of the aspiring units and gives suitable recommendation to NSIC for their registration or otherwise according to the merit of the cases.

Besides regular development activities, the Institute offer Support Services for quality improvement in the SSI Sector and to create awareness about the needs of quality, productivity, Ozone layer/ Environment protection and consumer aspirations through Seminars, Workshops and Exhibitions as well as Buyer- Seller Meets.
